The Prototype Board provides a socketed processor along with the RS-232 level shifting logic, a 16x1 LCD Character Display, a 3x4 Telephone style keyboard and 4 reed relays. The board has a voltage regulator which allows it to run from 7-5 to 15 VDC and comes with a suitable wall power supply. An RS-232 cable is included for attachment to a PC to serve as a terminal emulator. There are terminal emulators with most versions of Windows but we also include a simple terminal emulator program which has shortcut buttons to assist typing. Capture and Load features are also included to allow the EEBasic program to be saved or loaded to/from the PC. There is a small prototyping area with pads to solder down other components.
The shipped package contains a CD with documentation and sample programs.
